The assignment concerns the development of a smartphone application that allows farmers to be able to take and send 'geotagged photos' in an insured way, with a graphic overlay of agricultural parcel characteristics via 'augmented reality' on the camera. The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries seeks a balance between the efficiency gains in the monitoring of the monitoring of agricultural plots and a service to customers. The user-friendliness of the application is of the utmost importance for a smooth and widespread deployment by our customers. The app must contain a number of functionalities (see selection guide). The development and deployment of the application must be completed within a period of 6 months from the date of award. In principle, the start of this assignment is foreseen from 14.2.2020.
