In the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, subsystems of the media technology, in particular the entire digital signage system (hereinafter also referred to as the DS system) are to be renewed to a modern, contemporary state of the art. The new DS system should be completely web-based, with common web browsers as the application environment. The Olympic Stadium is providing existing systems that are to be integrated into the new facility. In particular, these are more than 200 existing monitors, mainly in the VIP, lounge and box areas, which are to be made "smart" by the later contractor, i.e. equipped with a set-top box (STB for short) or a digital signage player (DS player for short). The IT infrastructure required for the new DS system, active, passive and WLAN, will also be made available by the stadium for use and must be integrated into the overall system.
