The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) runs a fleet of marine vessels which police the London waterways. To support this, the MPS has a busy boat yard based in Wapping which carries out all the maintenance and repairs to those vessels.

The majority of the engines that the boat yard maintain are Volvo Penta Original Equipment Manufacturer OEM (or equivalent) engines and therefore the MPS requires spares, parts, training (to cover general maintenance and servicing) and warranty provision to be provided under this contract.

The MPS also requires as a part of this contract relevant Volvo Penta engine training where required.

In addition, the MPS requires warranty services as a part of this contract which will include diagnostic equipment, software/hardware updates, tools, warranty work carried out by the MPS etc.

The requirement is not split into separate Lots.
