The optical sorter is the only sorting technique that specifically discriminates cereal grains on the basis of chemical constituents such as proteins (Technological problem) and mycotoxins (Health problem).

This final sorting technique is essential to remove the small fraction of grain resulting in the downgrading of food batches into fodder.

This optical sorter should make it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of this sorting technique and thus develop only functional sorting calibration models.
