The work to be prepared under this call for tender is to review, develop, test and evaluate training for health professionals in order to facilitate the access and improve the quality of health services for migrants and ethnic minorities such as the Roma in the European Union.

The specific objectives are:

1. to identify and examine national laws and identify legal barriers for cross-border transfer of electronic health data from electronic health records and for the provision of cross-border e-health services;

2. to make recommendations to the e-health network on how national laws and European framework shall evolve to support cross-border e-health services.

The study shall also propose recommendations to the e-health network to work towards a sustainable legal framework at national and European level.
