Dismantling of old buildings and indoor swimming pool

A pollutant remediation of four buildings of a school is to be carried out.

The indoor pool consists of two floors with a gross floor area of 1,147 m² and one of BRI 5,508 m³. The focus is on the mineral wool renovation of the heating pipes and the suspended ceilings.

The single-storey canteen has a gross floor area of 208 m² and a BRI of 777 m³. Here, only mineral wool renovation of a suspended ceiling and a ventilation duct is carried out.

The main building and the extension consist of a basement, ground floor and first floor. The gross floor area of both buildings together is 6,942 m² and the BRI is 23,616 m³. The focus of the pollutant remediation in the extension building is on the asbestos-cement façade, the gypsum board ceilings with asbestos-containing spatula and the asbestos-containing sealant of the ventilation duct.

The focus in the main building is on the gypsum board ceilings with asbestos-containing filler, asbestos-containing PVC floor covering, the asbestos-containing sealants of a sectional boiler, asbestos-containing window putty, a mineral wool renovation in the ventilation centre and a PAH-containing screed insulation.

The renovation is to take place within two months (10.07.2023 to 08.09.2023). The renovation of the indoor swimming pool is scheduled to be completed by 21.07.2023 (two weeks). In the remaining six weeks until 08.09.2023, the buildings refectory, extension and main building are to be renovated.
