The Institute of Education requires an IAS to be provided by a suitably qualified organisation to comply with the HEFCE Code of Practice: Accountability and Audit. The successful bidder will be expected to provide an IAS in accordance with best practice and Government Regulations and Guidelines.

Internal Audit will evaluate the effectiveness of the internal control systems against agreed objectives and make recommendations for improvement.

Bidders are invited to tender for the provision of IAS at the Institute for a maximum of six years with an initial three-year contract commencing 1.8.2014.
