On the existing property of the Hamburg Police Headquarters, the new police operations centre is to be built, which complements and sustainably improves the existing functions.

The property is built with extensive existing buildings. The location is characterised above all by the historic and listed barracks buildings, which enclose a rectangular, former parade ground, as well as the new construction of the star-shaped police headquarters.

The new construction of the police operations centre is planned on an area of approx. 40 x 40 m as an almost square, compact cube. The planned construction site is located directly west of the existing ensemble of historic barracks buildings and is oriented in the north according to B-Plan on the building boundary of the urban development of the farm building.

As a multi-storey building with 3 or 5 upper floors and a height of 18.50 m, it will receive an essential urban conciseness on the site. The façade structure with a basement and horizontal bands takes up a 3-storey structure from the neighbouring buildings.

The bill of quantities includes the manufacture of emergency power systems.
