The English Institute of Sport (EIS) wishes to procure a new mobile voice services contract for 24 months starting from June 2017. This will be for 325 connections and 270 new smart-phones in the UK. Good coverage is required at all places of work, both in the UK and overseas.
As a publicly funded organisation EIS is seeking to maximise value for money, and wishes to minimise one-off set up costs as well as ongoing revenue costs.
The English Institute of Sport (EIS) are seeking to appoint one supplier to provide a 24 month mobile voice and data services contract to its 325 employees which is worth approximately 300 000 GBP. The supplier will need to 1) Provide connections for all employees 2) Provide new handsets to the majority of the employees, 3) Provide ongoing technical and customers services support throughout the contract, 4) Provide a clear charging structure with an online billing portal.
The handset of choice is the Samsung A5 or the Apple iPhone which will become the property of the EIS at the end of the Contract.
Competitive charges for both voice and data must be incorporated into the tender response particular for usage whilst outside of the UK. 4G coverage is mandatory with the option of being able to make calls through Wifi.
The supplier must have greater than 5 % of their domestic market share of subscribers and preferably have a UK based support /help-desk centre.
