The BVG requires support services for reading subscription warrants for the period from 1.10.2021 to 30.9.2022 plus a continuation option up to a maximum of 30.9.2023.

Tasks include:

— recording and plausibility of subscription applications in paper form and transmission to the AG,

— recording and plausibility of incoming mail for subscriptions and company tickets and transmission to the AG (“open mail” and “completed mail”),

— acquisition and plausibility of “paper” photos and transmission to the AG,

— Set up a web portal solution for customer photos for specific fare offers, as well as hosting, maintenance and further development of this web portal solution until the launch of “subscription online”,

— Set up a web portal solution to upload required evidence of specific fare offers, as well as to host, maintain, and evolve this web portal solution until the launch of “subscription online” and for mass promotions,

— An Android app for capturing customer photos for the AG staff, as well as maintenance and development,

— Loss of free student ticket tickets.

Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) is the largest municipal transport company in Germany. As a forward-looking company, BVG aims to offer its customers the best possible service with regard to the provision of subscriptions. For this purpose, BVG offers its customers, in addition to the two application options paper and online, but also the option of handing over photos and evidence, both on paper and electronically. A service provider is being sought for these services within the framework of the tender. As of 31.12.2020, there were up to approximately 880 000 subscribers. Due to the attractive fare offers, the trend is still rising. In 2020, a total of around 190 thousand first additions were made. Most of the records must be recorded by an external service provider.

The contract will initially be concluded for the period from 1.10.2021 to 30.9.2022. BVG may extend the contract by a maximum of 12 months until 30.9.2023.
