Østfoldbadet shall be extended with a new part that has a 6 lane main pool of 25 x 10.5 m, as well as changing room facilities with room for 160 persons, a gym, social room and a physiotherapy department.

The development shall be accessed from the existing premises. In addition a new outdoor pool shall be constructed with the accompanying outside area.

For sun beds, a play area and infrastructure for stalls for food and drinks. The complete outdoor pool installations with a technical room in the basement are to be completed before summer 2019 and the entire swimming pool installations are to be completed in September 2019.

The expected start-up is provisionally set to the turn of the month May / June 2018. The complete outdoor pool installations with a technical room in the basement are to be completed before summer 2019 and the entire swimming pool installations are to be completed in September 2019.

The project will be carried out as a main contract (K201 construction) with 5 joint contracts (K300 plumbing, K360 ventilation, K400 electricity, OFU-contract automation, K380 pool and water treatment).

It is a prerequisite that the existing swimming pool is open and the contractor must take this into consideration during the contract work. The existing swimming pool will be closed for one week for necessary work to connect the new and existing installations together.
