Refurbishment of the air conditioning unit (REBECA)
>The object of this contract is the renovation of the Control and Command (CC) of the REBECA installation, including the software and hardware aspects.
The services to be performed will be as follows:
o Definition of the reference state.
o Design study of the DC and HMI.
o CC realization and integration.
REBECA is a means of carrying out air conditioning tests.
Air conditioning consists of providing pressurization, air conditioning and ventilation functions for personnel and on-board equipment. The objective of the test campaigns carried out in REBECA is to test the performance and behaviour of air conditioning systems and equipment (e.g. RAFALE's air conditioning system, valves, water separators, turbochargers, etc.) in a representative environment in terms of pressure, flow rate and temperature.
REBECA is located in two buildings. The first includes an altitude site, the second an altitude site and a ground site. An altitude site is used to modify the ambient pressure to simulate the flight altitude of an aircraft, a ground site is used to carry out tests at ambient pressure. The engine air network (high pressure and high temperature) is used to simulate the air sampling of aircraft engines and the dynamic air network (low pressure and high flow) is used to simulate the speed of the aircraft.
