The assignment is described as the hiring of tractors, lorries, machinery with operators and equipment for snow removal, anding and salting of municipal roads, residential streets, side walks, pedestrian and bicycle paths in accordance with assigned areas, cf. part II Annex 1, and the requirements for prioritising as described in part II Annex 1. The description of assigned areas will be a part of the upcoming contract/agreement document.

The official snow clearing season runs from the first of November to 31 March. Snow clearing outside of this period will be ordered specially, as needed.
