Stadtwerke Bielefeld GmbH owns a property in Bielefeld. The building on it is currently used as a workshop and office building. Sub-areas on the ground floor and on the 1st floor are now to be renovated and converted into data center areas of availability class 3 according to DIN EN 50600. Prefabricated buildings will also be erected in the outdoor area as a new building. The area to be converted is approx. 2548 m². The subject matter of the contract to be awarded are services of object planning buildings and interiors within the meaning of § 34 HOAI as well as object planning outdoor facilities within the meaning of § 39 HOAI in the work phases 5 to 9.

The awards of the services are carried out in stages:

1st level: Includes the achievements of work phases 5 to 7;

2nd level: Includes the achievements of work phases 8 to 9

In the outdoor area, several prefabricated buildings for the power supply, switchgear technology and plant technology are being built. The necessary object planning services are also to be provided by the contractor.

For the new sub-area to be created, a building application has already been prepared and submitted on the basis of a concept. The familiarization with the previous planning as well as the execution planning/preparation of the award of the construction services according to the provisions of VOB/A should be started immediately after the order has been awarded.

Completion of the conversion is scheduled for February 2025.

After completion in February 2025, it must be possible to certify the data center areas according to DIN EN 50600.
