The contracting authority would like to establish a framework agreement with a tenderer, that, in a cost efficient and environmentally good way, can cover its needs for the procurement of bags and sacks for household waste for the execution of its services.
The contract was awarded to Total Packaging AS.
The contracting authority for the procurement is two of the three waste collection companies that are included in the waste collaboration Innsikt.
These are:
- Sirkula IKS
- Hadeland og Ringerike Avfallsselskap AS (HRA AS)
Sirkula IKS
Sirkula IKS is owned by Hamar, Ringsaker, Løten, and Stange Municipalities. The company sees to the waste service for its owner municipalities.
Hadeland og Ringerike Avfallsselskap AS
Hadeland og Ringerike Avfallsselskap AS collects, sorts, and recycles wastes from 66,000 inhabitants in Hadeland and Ringerike. HRA's main assignment is to handle waste from approx. 27,500 households and 6000 holiday homes.
The framework agreement will cover the contracting authority's need for bags and sacks for household waste that are required for the provision of services to users.
Based on historical figurs, the framework agreement is expected to have a value of NOK 28 million over a 4 year contract period. The contract will be valid for a maximum amount of up to NOK 30 million over the contract period.
The contracting authority is not obliged to make call-offs under the framework agreement for the estimated amount. The contracting authority is first committed after a call-off under the framework agreement.
