In the project for the new construction of the main fire station in Bottrop, various planning and construction services are required.

With this award procedure, general planning services relating to phase II of the project, the planning and construction of the outdoor facilities and development for the new construction of the main fire station in Bottrop will be awarded in stages. They include the services of "development planning" and traffic planning of the surrounding traffic routes/roads.

The city of Bottrop intends to build a new main fire station in Bottrop with outdoor facilities and a connection to the transport and technical infrastructure. The planning and construction are to be carried out by private partners on behalf of the city of Bottrop. After completion, the main fire station will be operated by the city of Bottrop. An initial plausibility check of the reported requirements confirms a usable space requirement of approx. 12,000 m² NUF.

The planning and construction services are to be put out to tender throughout Europe. The award model developed by the City of Bottrop currently provides for the following additional modules in addition to the award of the general planning services for outdoor facilities (GP II) using this procedure:
- Awarding of construction management services (already published)
- Awarding of general planning services for buildings (GP I)
- Awarding of construction contracts to a general contractor
- Awarding of construction services in several individual trades
- Further individual awarding of planning and construction services

The subject of the contract tendered here is the general planning II as "development planning", which includes the essential performance profiles of the outdoor facilities (including the necessary planning for traffic on the property) and the necessary technical facilities, engineering structures and infrastructure planning for the overall operation. Some of these plans are subject to special requirements from fire brigade operations (KRITIS requirements, redundancies, etc.) and must be carefully coordinated with the user and the "specialist planner control center".

Furthermore, the subject of this contract is the traffic planning of the surrounding traffic routes/roads in order to make the necessary structural adjustments to Josef-Albers-Straße and Kirchhellener Straße for use, including the necessary planning of traffic control and signalling systems. This applies in particular to the alarm exit.

The planning of the underground tanks and large-scale facilities in the outdoor area, including supply and disposal lines as well as the above-ground connection points, is carried out as a planning discipline "Engineering Structures". Accordingly, the electrical installations in the outdoor area are awarded as TA planning services.

The details of the design services to be carried out, which will be contracted in stages, can be found in the tender documents, in particular the draft contract and its annexes. Immediately upon commissioning in this procedure, services of service phases 1-3 of the relevant HOAI service profiles are initially covered. We reserve the right to make changes to the progress of the project.
