Energie- und Wasserversorgung Hamm GmbH operates a waterworks in Fröndenberg-Warmen on the Ruhr, in which around 12.5 million cubic meters of drinking water are produced annually through artificial groundwater recharge. The city of Hamm and another supply company are supplied with the drinking water for further distribution. Energie- und Wasserversorgung Hamm GmbH intends to expand the treatment systems at the Hamm waterworks in view of the new requirements that are placed on water treatment technology and to modernize parts of the technical facilities. This is to be done on the basis of a study by the IWW Mülheim. In addition to the expansion of the water treatment technology, a further goal is to achieve long-term economic operation with special consideration of the optimization of energy consumption. The basic determination and preliminary planning for this project have already been largely completed. The subject of the services to be provided are the general planning services of service phases 3 to 9, whereby a step-by-step commissioning is provided (see Section II.2.11).
As the general planner, the contractor owes all the planning services required for the project described above in the service phases 3-9 according to the HOAI, whereby a step-by-step commissioning is provided (see Section II.2.11). The contractor's obligation to perform includes in particular the following service profiles according to HOAI:
- Project planning engineering structures (Part 3 Section 3 of the HOAI in conjunction with Annex 12 to the HOAI),
- Specialist planning of structural engineering (Part 4, Section 1 of the HOAI in conjunction with Annex 14 to the HOAI),
- Technical planning of technical equipment (Part 4, Section 2 of the HOAI in conjunction with Annex 15 to the HOAI) for the plant groups 4, 5 and 7 in accordance with Section 53 (2) HOAI.
