For the S-Bahn Berlin GmbH (DB Regio AG) a CNC-controlled tandem URD including all necessary accessories according to the current state of the art is to be procured for the plant location Berlin-Grünau. This machine replaces an existing machine in the same position (the dismantling and recycling of which, including peripherals, is part of the service). Foundation work is not part of the scope of delivery but, if necessary, must be planned by the contractor up to and including HOAI / service phase 5.
Mainly wheelsets of the vehicles of the S-Bahn Berlin GmbH in gauge 1 435 mm / standard gauge are to be processed on the machine (vehicles: BR 480/481/483/484/485). A maximum axle load of 150 kN must be taken into account.
The Tandem-URD must be suitable for the following tasks / functions:
- basic processing / measurement of wheel sets individually or in tandem operation (center distances: 1 800-3000 mm),
- Automatic tread re-profiling on both sides / brake disc machining / machining of the outer wheel face of monoblock and tire wheelsets when installed in the vehicle or bogie as well as when dismantled (single wheel set),
- Proof of the rule-compliant condition of the wheelsets in the installed and removed condition with regard to the parameters a1, a2, eli / re, hli / re, qR, li / re, dMKE, li / re, ∆dMKE, Hli / re, Gli / re as well as the hollow running of the wheel profile and brake disc with a measuring system according to DIN 27201-9 (pre- and post-measurement),
- Complete control and monitoring of the machine from a separate control station,
- Logging of all measured and calculated data in an electronic database and as a log printout plus the automated transfer option to an internal ERP system in accordance with customer specifications,
- Remote maintenance access according to customer specifications.
In addition, the underfloor wheelset lathe must be equipped with an automatic chip disposal device including chip breaker and a smoke and dust extraction system. The steel structure belonging to the machine within the pit (track elevation, stairs, grating, grating ...) are the scope of delivery and services.
The machine is to be designed as a one-man workstation in CE conformity using the latest technology.
The measuring circle diameter range to be processed primarily lies between 580-1 250 mm. The maximum wheel set length to be clamped (including bearing housing) is 2,000-2,600 mm, the acting axle load per machine is a maximum of 150 kN (without taking into account any forces that may be required by the clamping system).
