Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG currently operates 8 large power plants in Berlin to generate district heating and electricity, approximately 12 medium to small heat and power plants and the district heat distribution grid.

Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH operates EBS-HKW in Rostock.

This call for tenders is to commission framework contract work in the area of “scaffolding work” and for lot 2 framework contract work in the area of “insulation work” on demand for the aforementioned location locations. The call for tenders includes all services that are normally incurred at the production sites in the aforementioned areas. It is expected that potential contractors can guarantee a start time of < 2 hours/on site.

Lot 1: Framework agreements for scaffolding works:

Framework agreement with Vattenfall Wärme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft as client for scaffolding work for the client's locations in Berlin as well as

Framework agreement with Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH as client for scaffolding work for the Rostock site.

Both framework agreements are awarded within the same lot, so that the contractor must be the same for both framework agreements. Applications for only one of the two framework agreements (e.g. Berlin only or Rostock only) within lot 1 are not possible.

Lot 1 includes deliveries and services for scaffolding work as part of ongoing maintenance, projects and revisions at the power plant locations and the heat generator and heat distribution locations of Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin and Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH in Rostock with the following Performance content:

1. The design, calculation, drawing, deployment, erection, maintenance modification and dismantling of scaffolding.

2. The execution of scaffolding work during ongoing maintenance, in projects and during revisions.

Due to the training period required for a supplier change, the start of service will take place staggered.

— contract period of the framework contract: 1.1.2022 to 30.9.2026,

— Start of performance for lot no. 1 scaffolding work: 1.1.2022.

For both lots:

The issuing body reserves the right to exercise its right to bundle lots. Applicants can either apply separately for just one lot or both lot 1 and lot 2. Depending on the possible surcharge configuration, the issuing agency intends to conclude either one framework agreement per client/site or 2 framework agreements per client/location per lot.

Lot 2 Framework Contracts on Insulation Work:

Framework agreement with Vattenfall Wärme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft as client on insulation work for the client's locations in Berlin as well as

Framework agreement with Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH as client for insulation work for the Rostock site.

Both framework agreements are awarded within the same lot, so that the contractor must be the same for both framework agreements. Applications for only one of the two framework agreements (e.g. Berlin only or Rostock only) within lot 2 are not possible.

Lot 2 includes assembly including delivery of the required material, conversion and disassembly of insulation as part of ongoing maintenance, projects and revisions at power plant locations and heat generator and heat distribution locations of Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG in Berlin and Vattenfall Europe New Energy Ecopowert GmbH in Rostock.

Due to the training period required for a supplier change in one category or in both categories, the start of performance will take place staggered.
