The Centre is looking for an experienced Security Contractor who can provide security officers who will fit into the existing system and work diligently alongside the centre team. Security officers must have excellent customer and communication skills as the work entails a significant amount of customer interaction, such as booking residents in and dealing with resident matters during the night. Security officers will also be required to man the centre car park to prevent non users from parking.

The requirement is to provide services at Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, CF11 9SW.

Security guarding requirements as follows:

— provision of a single manned overnight security guard service 84 hours per week,

— 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Sunday to Thursday,

— 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Friday to Saturday,

— provision of additional daytime cover during bank holiday and centre closures,

— occasional additional hours to man the centre car park to stop non-users from parking.
