It is intended to carry out a comprehensive building renovation at the upper school building of the comprehensive school Kirchhain, Alfred-Wegener-Schule. With the comprehensive building renovation, a fire protection concept is implemented in addition to an energetic renovation of the thermal outer shell, the building services. The existing two-storey building will be gutted down to the shell construction and added approx. 9 x 35 m on two sides. Foundations for timber frame facades are to be created. In the building, conversions with concrete cutting work are to be carried out. An adjacent break hall is demolished down to the floor slab and rebuilt.
