Provision of testing berth in a river or estuary with a suitable water flow, together with corresponding testing and analytical services, to document operational and environmental performance characteristics (including electrical power generation) from a 25kW hydrokinetic turbine device. Testing will commence in the 4th quarter of 2017 and run for a period of up to 6 months. Test facilities to include a mooring berth, deployment, extraction and storage facilities, workshop and office accommodation, power grid connection as well as a service craft to facilitate turbine access and servicing while in the water. Test operator will be required to provide equipment, instrumentation and staff resources capable of monitoring and reporting on:

— environmental impact of the turbine (including impact on fish),

— operational performance of the turbine,

— certification of the power curve from electrical power generation.

Testing and validation services in respect of power generation from hydrokinetic turbine over testing period of up to 6 months as described in attached request for tender documentation.
