Delivery stainless steel fastening material

*Assignment*

By means of a notification, the candidate may be eligible for an invitation to tender for the contract for the supply of stainless steel fastening material for the assembly of flanges. The fastening material consists of stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers. To prevent cold welding, the bolts are supplied with a pre-applied lubricant (Lubo or equivalent). The deliveries are delivered under a framework contract. Brabant Water wants to conclude a framework contract for a period of 8 years. Approximately 100,000 pieces of stainless steel A2 bolts, 100,000 pieces of stainless steel A2 nuts and 200,000 pieces of stainless steel A2 rings must be delivered per year in the dimensions M16, M20, M24 and M27 at customer's request.

In today's market, it is difficult and unrealistic to make a long-term price agreement. When the invitation to submit a tender, this is discussed and elaborated in more detail.

*Objective*

The bolts, nuts and washers to be supplied must:

be assembled and disassembled in a safe, environmentally friendly and error-free manner;

delivered on time, complete and without defects.

*Award criteria*

The tenderer who submitted the tender with the lowest price shall be eligible for the award of the contract. The desired quality of the contract is fixed, which means that there is no possibility for tenderers to distinguish themselves. Tenderers can only distinguish themselves on price. Brabant Water therefore awards the contract for 'lowest price'.
