Alvøen school, Janaflaten 31, consists of 6 buildings and a temporary pavilion building. This contract consists of 3 phases:

Phase 1: Construction of a new east wing with 2 floors, approx. 1 350 m2 over 2 floors, some outside areas.

Phase 2: Renovation of the administration and teachers wing, approx. 1 150 m2.

Phase 3: The remaining outside areas (after the pavilion has been removed by others).

There will be a stop in the work between these phases due to moving processes at the school, see the attached main schedule.

The demolition of the existing east wing will be carried out in another contract during January/February 2016.

The school, including the pavilion building, will be in use during the construction phase, and the necessary considerations must be taken into account during this work.

Janaflaten is the access road to the school for both teachers, students and contractors, even though a large number of the students also arrive via a footpath from the west. The contractor must therefore avoid transport during the hours of 8:00 — 8:30 and 14:00 — 14:15. See also the attached SHA plan.
