Govanhill Housing Association's major repairs works contract framework is scheduled to be renewed this year and they are seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants to provide professional services for the design and delivery of various projects within this framework.
The following services are required:
— 4 Nr Architects (including Contract Administrator),
— 3 Nr Civil and Structural Engineers,
— 4 Nr Quantity Surveyors.
The projects in which Govanhill Housing Association anticipate procuring under this framework include:-
— Comprehensive internal refurbishment of flats either in groups or on a ‘one-off basis’ ranging in value from 20 000 GBP to 300 000 GBP,
— Kitchen renewals either in groups or on a ‘one-off’ basis ranging in value from 10 000 to 300 000 GBP,
— Bathroom renewals either in groups or on a ‘one-off’ basis ranging in value from 10 000 to 300 000 GBP,
— Window replacements ranging in value from 150 000 to 1 000 000 GBP,
— Common repairs to tenement properties including repairs to external walls, repairs/renewals to roof coverings and rot eradication works all ranging in value from 150 000 GBP to 1 000 000 GBP.
The duration of this framework is 4 years and the cumulative expenditure of this period is projected to be circa 16 000 000 GBP.
