In 2021, an organizational change was made regarding the administrations in Kristinehamn municipality. What used to be the Social Administration was divided and instead the Support, Care and Care Administration (SVO) (elderly care, HSL and LSS) and the Work, Competence and Welfare Administration (AKV) were formed.
Some time before the split, an investigation was made into financial assistance, labor market initiatives, adult education and the area of integration. This investigation resulted in a merger of these areas together with the traditional individual and family care parts, which formed AKV.
Today, the remaining parts of the administration have the Pulsen Combine operating system with the exception of the labour market parts that use the AMEA system.
AKV currently consists of more than 200 employees who need a new business system.
