The services consist in carrying out any type of machining activity and small boilermaking workshop or factory.
Part of the activities take place in Controlled Zone (ZC).
Machining is performed on mechanical parts, as part of the maintenance of slices.
Tranche Stop (AT) and Trench Start (TeM) benefits include:
- machining work (turning, milling, drilling, sawing, grinding, etc.) on the machines of the site workshop, in the ZC machining workshop and Outside ZC (HZC) in case 2 *, or in factory,
- the HZC (NCP cold workshop) machining work for laboratories in connection with the manufacture of mechanical test specimens,
- boilermaking work on the HZC site in case 2 or in the factory on behalf of the CNPE of Chinon,
- maintenance of machine tools (1

Services for the laboratories of the Materials and Chemistry Department (DMC):
The service consists of performing all types of machining activity in laboratories and workshops.
Part of the activities take place in a controlled area.
The machining is performed on mechanical parts, samples and samples called "Object of expertise" (OE).
The holder also manufactures parts for the realization of assembly, spare parts, tools, etc. necessary for the activities of the DMC.
Benefits include:
- Machining from a plane of complex parts, using machine tools, in ZC (laboratories) and HZC (cold workshop of the CNPE), or in the factory,
- support and advice from pilots of expertise to provide analysis on the capacity and ability to achieve the machining requested according to materials and various manufacturing processes,
- the constitution of the machining file,
The use of machining means in cells such as remote manipulation necessary for the machining activities,
- the intervention in glove box for the realization of operations necessary for the machining activities,
The design and production of specific tools necessary for carrying out the machining and maintenance activities of the machining means inside them,
