The Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner (ODPCC) wishes to appoint a Contractor to renew its existing wide area network circuits and associated maintenance services.

The Contract will include, but not be limited to, the following:

— Replacement or renewal of Ethernet services;

— Provision of maintenance and support services for Ethernet links.

As technology and public attitude to police contact changes, there is a need to look at value for money in the delivery of wide area network services. The ODPCC has a requirement to save money and realise significant savings, along with the need to drive efficiencies through procuring a wide area network system which is flexible, robust and value for money Further, more detailed information is available in the Procurement Documents.
