Bodø Municipality, c/o the Refugee office requests tenders for Norwegian language courses and follow-up scheme for work training for participants in the municipality's introductory programme for newly arrived refugees who have little or no education and weak Norwegian language skills. The aim of the course is that each individual shall be able to understand and make themselves understood in Norwegian, in addition to reading and writing competence. They shall develop skills that are necessary for managing in everyday life and at work.

Furthermore, the aim is that each individual shall learn learning strategies that form a basis for further learning opportunities after the introduction programme has been completed. The course must consist of a theory part and follow-up of participants in relevant work practice.

The estimated annual value of the contract is approx. NOK 2,100,000 for Bodø Municipality. The annual amount is largely affected by the number of refugees and the world situation in general, and the stipulated total contract value including the option for an extension is approx. NOK 8,400,000. Amounts are guidelines and are based on last year's consumption and assessment of future needs. The maximum value of the contract is approx. NOK 12,600,000. All the amounts are stated in NOK, excluding VAT. The estimated contract value represents no obligation for the contracting authority or rights for the tenderer.
