431 days support S/4HANA support SAP CC Management and CCPA

The SAP Customer Competence Center (SAP CCC) in the NOW IT network of the German Pension Insurance combines the technical competencies of the SAP Competence Centers of the pension insurance institutions in the NOW IT network and the DRV Oldenburg-Bremen with the competencies of the operating and development areas of the IT service provider of the pension insurance institutions NOW IT GmbH. The SAP CCC is a Competence Center of Expertise (CCoE) certified by SAP SE. The SAP CCC is managed by a joint CC management of DRV Westfalen and NOW IT. DRV Westfalen fills the positions of CC Manager and several employees. NOW IT is filling the position of Deputy CC Manager. It is planned to support this deputy with another employee as well.

With the launch of the "S/4HANA Transformation" program in July 2022, it was necessary to ensure that tasks in the program were performed in addition to the regular activities of CC Management. Among other things, the project managers of the projects "Software and Processes" and "CC Services" are staffed by CC Management. In order to provide the necessary personnel resources, DRV Westfalen created and advertised positions.

In addition, there were challenges in filling the positions in the Competence Center Personal Administration (CCPA). Here, too, there are risks for the transformation program, as the CCPA has been entrusted with the management of both the HCM subproject and the Test Automation and Anonymization (TAA) subproject.

In the course of the past few months, contrary to expectations, the personnel recruitment measures of DRV Westfalen to fill the necessary positions in CC management at the Münster site and the CCPA have not led to the necessary personnel being available to implement the S/4HANA transformation.

In order to ensure the implementation of the "S/4HANA Transformation" program, the support of the program at the levels of project management and sub-project management should therefore be commissioned externally. The tender is for the procurement of consulting and services for DRV Westfalen.

For CC management, external support is required as deputy head of the Software and Processes (SUP) project as well as participation in the Test Automation and Anonymization (TAA) project. For the CCPA, external support is required for the sub-project management in the sub-project HCM (Human Resources) as well as for the support of the sub-project management TAA as well as the sub-project cooperation in the sub-project HCM.

This agreement is intended to enable employees in CC Management and CCPA at DRV Westfalen to be able to access the consulting or services they need for the S/4HANA Transformation program described in the appendices at short notice.

The locations of services can be all locations of NOW IT GmbH and DRV Westfalen including their clinics. The main location for cross-project events will be the Laatzen site.

The described support is scheduled to start on 01.12.2023.

It ends with the filling of the designated positions by suitable employees of DRV Westfalen, but no later than 30.06.2027.

The term should be able to be extended twice by 12 months each.

The contract is intended to cover the estimated need of 431 days of service to support CC management.

In addition, the projects and sub-projects of the program as well as SAP CC should participate in this agreement, provided that the required types of services are specified in the aptitude test.

There is no acceptance obligation.
