The European Parliament has decided to launch this invitation to tender concerning the supply of sports equipment for the European Parliament's sports centres located in Brussels (lot 1) and Strasbourg (lot 2).

The Parliament would like to fit out its sports hall with new equipment. The lot comprises:

— item A: purchase of machines, body-building apparatus and equipment/materials for group courses: three weight-training machines, 24 body-building devices;

— item B: monthly hire of cardio machines: 22 cardio machines.

Provision is also made for services outside of the warranty period: the volume of these services is estimated at a maximum amount of EUR 10 000 for five years for each lot. These services relate to equipment purchased from the contractor, but may also concern maintenance or repair work on equipment already in the Parliament's possession.

The Parliament would like to fit out its sports hall with new equipment. The lot comprises:

— item A: purchase of machines, body-building apparatus and equipment/materials for group courses: three weight-training machines, 12 body-building devices, 77 pieces of equipment/materials for group lessons;

— item B: monthly hire of cardio machines: 20 cardio machines.

Provision is also made for services outside of the warranty period: the volume of these services is estimated at a maximum amount of EUR 10 000 for five years for each lot. These services relate to equipment purchased from the contractor, but may also concern maintenance or repair work on equipment already in the Parliament's possession.
