Powys County Council are acting as the Lead Authority for the Welsh Purchasing Consortium (WPC) in undertaking this tender process. The organisations whom are part of the WPC taking part in this exercise are listed in Appendix 2.

The tender exercise is being carried out on the Bravosolutions Portal, and bidders should read all documents provided on the portal before starting their submission.

The purpose of this document is to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for a Framework Agreement, which will run for two years (with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months).

The contract includes the supply and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire blankets and fire safety signage. Servicing of gas suppression systems, wet and dry riser systems, and sprinkler systems. Call outs relating to the above, and Fire risk assessments.

The total estimated value of the works over all Lots per annum will be in the region of £225,400. No one supplier will receive all this value of work, as it is split across lots- geographically and by service type
