Sewage sludge is decayed sludge, which is dehydrated either by a screw press or a chamber filter press depending on operational requirements. The sludge is conditioned by adding polymers and, depending on the dewatering unit, an iron III chloride solution may also be added. The dry matter content is about 21... 25% TR. The continuous sewage sludge is to be disparted regularly for the duration of the contract in a weekly rhythm, on a maximum of 2 pre-determined days of the week. There is an average mass of 80-90 t of original substance (OS) per calendar week for removal and recycling. The duration of the contract to be concluded is 12 calendar months after the order is placed or until the 4 600 t OS has been properly utilized. For a cross-border shipment, the term is 12 months from the date of the successful notification.
