The project includes the further development of the recreational project area De Spaanjerd in Kinrooi, located on the Maasdijk.

Today, the municipality of Kinrooi does not know exactly what initiatives the private market can and wants to take in the aforementioned project area that is integral property of the municipality of Kinrooi. The modalities of a possible cooperation can also be not/insufficiently determined today.

In any case, it concerns the commercial development, realization, marketing and operation (from one central management) of a number of terrain-related accommodation, but additional initiatives can also be taken in the De Spaanjerd project area. This includes hospitality, recreational (water-related) activities, etc.
