Children are defined as, any young person under the age of 16. The service will be facilitated through referrals from Primary Care practitioners within the Llanelli Cluster typically for mild to moderate mental health distress. The objective of this service is to support children who may require a referral to SCAMHS and are presenting with mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression. While the support will focus on the child, it is essential that similar support is provided in the home environment to reinforce the wellbeing interventions.
