The building is to be established on the site of a previous nursing home, which has now been demolished. No infrastructure remains from this building, so everything must be established for the new building. The new care centre is to be constructed with 3 storeys with a partially underground basement, a ground floor and 1st floor. The basement will house the technical rooms, offices, treatment rooms, kitchen and rooms for the nursing personnel and technical operations personnel. The ground floor and 1st floors will have 4 residential departments, with communal functions in a core area between the departments on each floor. The care centre is to be facilitated for 24 rooms divided between the departments. The residents will, as a starting point, be patients with varying degrees of advanced dementia. Some special functions must also be facilitated within this area, such as screened rooms for patients who act out and infection control rooms with special requirements. The assignment is to be carried out as a turnkey contract, and NS 8407 will form the basis for the contract.
