The Procurement Services of the City of Turku requests offers for textbooks and ancillary materials.

The acquisition includes two subsets:

- Subset 1 Textbooks and ancillary materials for elementary schools

- Subset 2 Textbooks and ancillary materials for the 2nd degree

An offer may be made from one or both subsets.

Subset 2 includes both K and J learning materials.

Acquisition concerns the acquisition of textbooks as well as ancillary materials. The purchase of electronic material is possible as an option, as required by the subscriber.

The City of Turku also competes textbooks for the use of other contracting entities mentioned in the call for tender.

The City of Somero only participates in the acquisition for Subset 2.

Loimaa Municipality only participates in the acquisition for Subset 1.

The estimated total value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 4,500,000/year. The procurement does not commit to a specific quantity during the contract period, but rather the products are ordered according to the needs of the contracting entities.

The acquisition is subject to a framework agreement on a subset basis with one supplier. The contract period is from 1 October 2021 (target) to 30 September 2023. The contract may be extended by the subscriber's decision for a maximum of two years.
