Engineering service for the dismantling and rebuilding of wells 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the Hof Schönau waterworks for Mainzer Netze GmbH, project TP01134

Mainzer Netze GmbH operates the Hof Schönau waterworks in the Rüsselsheim district, Hesse. Since 2018, the output of the lifting pipeline well galleries has decreased from approx. 1,200 m³/h to approx. 500 m³/h combined with a further significant increase in chloride contents. Series of measurements carried out show that in particular the well lines west and north or spatially adjacent wells or disused old wells influence each other.

The aim of the well rehabilitation measures is to sustainably reduce the rise of salt water while at the same time restoring a minimum pumping capacity of the waterworks of 1,600 m³/h in order to be able to safely cover the peak charges of the water supply, which have increased considerably in recent years.

For the provision of the services of phases 3 to 8 according to HOAI for the dismantling and new expansion of wells 2, 3, 4 and 5, a contractor is being sought to carry out these tasks on the basis of the geophysical and hydrological analysis and evaluation of the chloride content carried out in the 4 individual wells to be remediated.
