Technical assistance in the implementation of the UfM Roadmap on Sustainable Blue Economy, and in the implementation of the UfM Roadmap on Sustainable Blue Economy and support with the technical backing needed in the context of the future 3rd UfM Ministerial on Sustainable Blue Economy.

The overall objective of the present contract is to support the UfM Secretariat with the technical capacity needed to implement the Ministerial decisions of the 43 UfM countries, both 1) those taken with the adoption of the 2nd UfM Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Blue Economy and structure the main steps towards its successful implementation and 2) those to be formulated in the context of the future 3rd UfM Ministerial on Sustainable Blue Economy, tentatively foreseen in 2025

The specific purpose of this contract is to assist in the implementation of the UfM Roadmap on Sustainable Blue Economy and in the implementation of specific activities as follows:

• The elaboration and preparation in ready-to-publish format of the 3rd edition of the UfM publication on ‘Advancing towards a sustainable blue economy in the Mediterranean’ (title might change) and related factsheets.

• A video (and related extracts/shorter videos) on the progress of the UfM Blue Economy agenda and portfolio, including relevant blue skills careers and job as well as blue business development and sustainable investments aspects. The video/s may be of use also for the future 3rd UfM Ministerial on Sustainable Blue Economy, tentatively foreseen in 2025
