collection, transport and disposal of medical waste from SPZOZ facilities in Siedlce
The subject of the contract is: provision of loading, export and disposal of medical waste for a period of 12 months in accordance with applicable regulations

2. Regulation of the Minister of Health of 5 October 2017 on the detailed manner of dealing with medical waste (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1975)
3. Regulation of the Minister of Health of 21 October 2016 on the requirements and methods of disposing of medical waste (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 1819)
4. The Environmental Protection Law Act of 27 April 2001 (i.e. Journal of Laws 2018.799, as amended);
5. Act of 19 August 2011 on the transport of dangerous goods (i.e. Journal of Laws 2019.382);
6. the Act of 6 September 2001 on road transport (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1180, as amended);
As part of the contract, the Contractor will be obliged to collect, load, export and dispose of medical waste with the following codes
- 18 01 01 - surgical and surgical instruments and their remains (excluding 18 01 03)
- 18 01 02* - body parts and organs and blood containers and preservatives for its storage (excluding 18 01 03)
- 18 01 03* - other wastes which contain live pathogenic micro-organisms or their toxins and other forms capable of transferring genetic material known or reliably believed to cause disease in humans and animals (e.g. infected diapers, sanitary napkins, sleepers), excluding 18 01 80 and 18 01 82
- 18 01 82*- residues from the nutrition of patients of the infectious disease ward
- 18 01 06* - chemicals, including chemical reagents, containing dangerous substances
- 18 01 07 - chemicals, including chemical reagents, other than those mentioned in 18 01 06
- 18 01 09 - medicines other than those mentioned in 18 01 08
Estimated monthly amount of waste - approx. 10,000 kg
Estimated annual amount of waste - approx. 120,000 kg
Pursuant to Article 20(3) and (6) of the Waste Act of 14 December 2012 (i.e. Journal of Laws 2019.701), it is forbidden to dispose of infectious medical waste outside the area of the voivodship where it was generated, therefore the Contractor should dispose of waste in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. It is allowed to dispose of medical waste in the voivodship other than the one in which it was generated, in the nearest installation, in the absence of an installation for the disposal of this waste in the area of the voivodship or when the existing installations do not have free processing capacity
The Ordering Party reserves the right to check the way in which the transferred waste travels, i.e. from the place of delivery to the place of thermal disposal .
