The Dean & Chapter Canterbury Cathedral have applied for funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to undertake a repair, conservation and interpretation of Canterbury Cathedral's heritage assets. The project will involve the repair and reconstruction of the the Christ Church Gate and repair work to the Nave and West Towers, a reapprasial of the current landscape of the Cathedral and the creation of a new welcome centre that will provide introductory interpretation and improved orientation facilities. The contracts are for the supply of Quantity Surveyor and Interpretation Consultant Services needed to complete this overall project.
