The aim of the procurement process is to enter into a framework agreement for bottom ash at Tafjord Kraftvarme's plant. Bottom ash is classified as 19 01 12 or *19 01 11 according to the European Waste List (Norwegian: EAL). 

The agreement will cover transport, reception, sorting, final treatment and disposal of the ash in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. 

There are two options for transporting and loading the ash from the TKV plant (Breivika Industriveg 1, N-6018 Ålesund, Norway). The contractor must consider both options in the pricing matrix.

The length of the framework agreement is 2 years with an option to extend the agreement by 1+1 year.
