Object planning buildings, LPH 1-9 according to performance profile § 34 HOAI

The building at Residenzplatz 6 was built in 1955 and served as a Rotkreuzhaus until 1979. In 1979, it was converted into a nursery for children in town's primary schools. In summer 2020, the children's nursery finally moved to the new rooms of Horte Emil-Silberhorn on Bräugasse. The GE building has been empty since then. The construction site for the construction of the Nuremberg University of Technology is currently located in the immediate vicinity and the Residenzplatz 6 property is in the context of the historic buildings of the district court, the riding stables and the residence that are arranged around the residence square.

The use is changed in favor of the creation of office/administrative premises on all floors. It should be noted that both inner-city conditions and construction site operation at the new building of the branch office of the Nuremberg University of Technology Confines prevail.

The basic idea of the general renovation with upgrading is the creation of an improved spatial edge and thus an upgrade of the urban planning area to residence square. The entire building is traced back to the shell condition, the roof is dismantled, the building is raised by one floor and the entire object is brought to the current state of the art. The supporting structure of the building corresponds to the post-war construction. An increase is feasible, but only in light timber construction. Investigations of the own statics and the existing underground car park at Residenzplatz are absolutely necessary.
