Renewal and modernization of the Bühlot outdoor pool in Bühlertal:
After more than 50 years of operation, the outdoor swimming pool built in the 1960s is in need of major renovation and modernization.
The following measures are planned:
- Reduction of the water surface of the existing combination pool from approx. 1,500 square meters to 960 square meters,
- Dismantling of the existing functional building and replacement with a two-part new building with accommodation of the technical systems as well as the changing, sanitary and personnel areas,
- Complete renewal of the water treatment system and the associated piping as well as renewal of the sanitary, heat supply and electrical systems,
- Installation of a stainless steel combination pool in the existing concrete pool,
- complete renovation of the outdoor facilities,
- Installation of a wide wave slide and a new jumping facility (1 m, 3 m, 5 m).
Start of construction: March 1, 2021 Completion: April 15, 2022 Total construction costs (KG 200-600): approx. 5.6 million EUR net.
Steel construction and roofing work:
- deliver and assemble approx. 30 t hot-dip galvanized profile steel,
- 965 sqm roof covering with trapezoidal sheet sandwich elements,
- 154 m of attic cladding with sandwich elements including substructure,
- 120 m box channels made of sheet metal,
- 155 m ridge and verge cladding with sheet metal,
- 75 m sheet metal wall covering.
Service period:
By mid-August 2021: Delivery of the workshop drawings,
45th to 49th week 2021: assembly of the steel structure,
48th to 51st week of the week 2021 sandwich covering.
