As part of the implementation of the energy plan of the City of Bern, the district heating network in Bern West is being expanded by Energie Wasser Bern as part of the district heating expansion (AFW) project. This subproject is part of the overall AFW project. In the project perimeter, new district heating distribution pipelines will be built in Kehrgasse, Bienenstrasse, Werkgasse and Bethlehemstrasse. The present pipe construction submission includes the delivery and installation including the associated quality tests of the district heating pipeline.
