For the period 2022-2024, the framework agreement will be used to award both the proper disposal of the resulting waste from the WSA's West German Kanal branch offices at the Duisburg site, as well as the professional disposal of waste from defined individual construction measures.

Other services include sampling and analysis of pending waste for disposal as well as the pre-treatment of waste, as these are not always available as “pure waste products” in accordance with the regulations in the respective expansion stage.

Lot 1 includes container creation and professional disposal of waste from the branch offices from the management work (control waste, trash, PV computer systems, flood waste, waste after cleaning cultured systems and sand traps).

Finally, lot 1 includes sampling and analysis of pending waste for disposal in order to plan occupational safety and declaring waste

In the course of building measures/individual measures:

- Ruhrschleuse Duisburg chamber wall renovation

- Renewal of edge protection at the southern lock in Oberhausen

- Bollard renovation of the large Dorsten lock

- Bollard renovation of the large lock Ahsen

- Replacement of pumps in the Wanne-Eickel pumping station

potential waste is generated, but it still needs to be pre-treated before disposal, as it is not yet available as a “pure waste product” in the respective expansion state in accordance with the regulations. This pre-treatment includes, for example, separation of concrete, removal of adhering slag and soil, stripping metal waste containing knots and PAH, etc.

This pretreatment is considered in lot 2 and takes place in the AN's factory halls. The AN is also used to dispose of the pending waste.

Lot 3 includes household waste bin intermission/emptying and disposal at the Henrichenburg Maritime Museum and the Ahsen and Dateln ship lock systems in the outports.
