Rogaland County and Agder County are participating with safeguarding the remote lending function in their counties and organising the local lending co-operation between the libraries. The remote lending scheme is a national co-operation, where libraries display their book collections to lenders at other libraries.

There is a need for a transport scheme that can contribute to material being transported efficiently between libraries, both internally in Ager and Rogaland, and to libraries elsewhere in Norway and abroad.
