This service will provide a high quality and safe one or two stage, no-scalpel technique vasectomy under local anaesthetic, in accordance with the Male and Female Sterilisation Guidance Summary published by Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (September 2014 ) produced in agreement with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (RCOG), in a community setting to all adult males who request it, are of sound mind, not acting under external duress and are registered with a Sheffield General Practitioner (GP).

Patients will receive an effective quality vasectomy procedure with complications rates in line with the Male and Female Sterilisation Guidance Summary published by Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (September 2014) in a community location of their choice.

Patients will receive a high quality patient-centred service that respects their privacy and dignity.

Value for money through reduced costs and increased quality outcomes.
