Selection of a business partner for the support and processing of a Microsoft Group Agreement Enterprise Agreement (EA) for the delivery of Microsoft software products under the terms of the Microsoft conditions agreements and for further license consultations

The seamless transition of Software Assurance (software maintenance) from 01.01.2023 for the existing licenses including Software Assurance must be ensured. The objective is to win a corresponding trading partner (contractor) for the support and processing of this contract for the next 5 years, who advises and supports the IT department (client) of the city of Lehrte in the administration and procurement of Microsoft software licenses / software assurance, and then provides the purchased products. Within the contract period of 5 years, the upcoming follow-up contracts during this period as well as all true-up procedures for this contract must be initiated by the contractor vis-à-vis the customer in good time and, if necessary, in connection with carry out appropriate licensing consultations. The contractor advises the client on the procurement of Microsoft Subscription and provides him with the Microsoft products to be ordered as a licensing service provider. Since this program is provided by Microsoft, which excludes manufacturer support and an indirect contract is concluded, this support must be provided by the contractor. The Contractor shall provide the necessary basis for support and other services in connection with the use of the Software by the Client. In addition to the pure contractual activities, the contractor shall in future provide further services in connection with the use of the software at the customer's premises. In addition to the general consulting services in the EA environment, these mainly include further services in the area of license and contract monitoring, VLSC-exceeding portal support and cooperation in license planning for future projects.
