A new Framework Agreement for the supply and distribution of vegan and vegetarian specialist food. The new Framework Agreement is intended to cover all UK HE and FEIs as well as other public sector organisations with in house catering.
The scope will cover:
— a range of vegan and vegetarian products and ingredients to include frozen, ambient and grocery,
— a range of vegan and vegetarian grab and go products,
— a one-stop shop to cover above lots.
The tender will be carried out under an open tender process.
To include but not limited to Grocery items such as canned and dried fruit and vegetables, baking products, rice and pasta, sauces, beverages, alternative produce, products, milk and ingredients, any other vegetarian grocery food ingredients. Chilled products such as cheese, milk, tofu, sandwich fillings, any other vegetarian chilled food ingredients. Frozen products such as vegetables, bread, patisserie, and any other vegetarian frozen food ingredients.
To include but not limited to grab and go snacks including innovative snacks, hummus, falafel, crackers, crisps, drinks, etc.
The one stop shop lot has been added for those providers that are able to offer a majority of products across all lots. This would enable members to call-off from just 1 supplier if products from both lots were required.
